The heart of a teacher:
With an English degree and a previous career in high school teaching, I provide edit suggestions and feedback with the heart of a teacher. I will build a collaborative relationship of respect, kindness, and precision editing with my clients. I seek feedback from authors on how I can better serve them as we work through the editing process together.
Romance and Fantasy Expert:
I primarily edit contemporary romance, fantasy, and young adult novels. This ensures your manuscript is read by someone familiar with genre and someone who keeps up with trends in the industry for both romance and fantasy genres.
Style Sheets and Learning Tools:
I provide all edits in track changes with comments for author review. For line and copyediting clients, I also provide a style sheet that includes references I used when editing their manuscript, details about typography, characters, and stylistic choices found within the manuscript.
Human Brain Powered Editing (No AI).
Your manuscript will be edited by a human brain in all stages of editing. When copyediting, I do use tools (spellcheck, grammar check, etc.) for consistency purposes; however, all edits are reviewed and made by me. I do not use AI in my editing services. I read every line of your manuscript for precision and polish.
